Documentary wedding and couples photography in Sydney.

Most of the work happens before the shutter. Reading the room, noticing who is about to laugh, standing in the right spot a beat early.
This is a record of people in the middle of their own lives. Not posed for. Witnessed. I show up, I keep quiet, and I photograph what happens once nobody is performing.

The person behind the camera.
Sensitive human, freediver, animal lover, recovering perfectionist, finding myself through art, and photographing people while I do.
On your day, I’ll read the room. I can bring the energy up when the dance floor needs it, and step back when the moment asks for quiet. Most people stop noticing the camera inside an hour.
The rest of the time I’m underwater. Freediving taught me most of what I know about photographing people: stay calm, hold steady, and wait for the moment to come to you.
Read more about meOur photos look like us, not some version of us we’d cringe at in ten years. We love them.

If you’ve read this far, write to me.
If you hate having your photo taken: good. Most of my couples say that first.
Two short steps, about a minute of typing. I reply within a day or two, honestly, even if your date is taken.
