Privacy, plainly.
What this site knows about you, where it goes, and how to turn off the optional parts.
When you write to me.
The form asks for your names, your email, your date and location if you have them, and a few sentences about the day. That note lands in a private database and my inbox, and it is used for one thing: reading it and replying to you.
Nothing you send is sold, shared, or added to a mailing list. Want your enquiry deleted? Write to me and it is gone.
Cookies and analytics.
Two tools, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, count visits and show me which pages lead people to enquire. The patterns are anonymised, there is no advertising, and I never see who you are.
In the EU, UK, and Switzerland these cookies stay off until you say yes. Everywhere else they are on unless you turn them off below. These are the cookies involved:
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Tells returning visitors apart and keeps session state. | Up to 2 years |
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity | A visitor id for anonymised heatmaps and session replays. | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Links the pages of a single visit together. | 1 day |
| fp-consent | This site | Remembers the analytics choice you make here. | 12 months (6 months when declined) |
