Elopement photographer in Sydney
Some of the best weddings I have photographed had eight people at them. If you are looking for an elopement photographer in Sydney, chances are you already know this: fewer moving parts means more time to actually be somewhere, together, with the people who matter most.
An elopement photographer in Sydney, for days that stay small
Three hours, up to twenty people, on a weekday. A ceremony wherever means something—a headland, a garden, a living room—then lunch, usually. I photograph it as it happens and leave the directing to the celebrant. If you want a production, with a runsheet and a drone, I am probably not your person.
Weekday dates book unevenly across the year. Write with yours and we will see where it lands.
A few things people ask
What counts as an elopement?
Anything intimate. Two people, a celebrant or not, somewhere that means something. It does not need to be a secret, and it does not need to be small — it just needs to be yours.
Can we elope anywhere in NSW?
Yes. Anywhere greater Sydney is included in the rate. Further than that, travel is at cost and we agree on it in writing before anything is booked.
Do you photograph queer and same-sex elopements?
Yes, without exception. All couples photographed.
How is an elopement different from a wedding, for you?
Usually quieter, which tends to mean better photographs. Fewer moving parts, more time to actually be somewhere. I prefer them, honestly.
