Every so often someone writes to ask, carefully, whether I photograph queer couples. Yes. Without exception, without qualification, and without a special rainbow package. The work is the same work: documentary, unhurried, built around who you actually are.
Ordinary, in the best sense
Same-sex weddings, queer engagement sessions, trans and non-binary individuals, chosen families. It is all people photography, which is the whole job. I will use your names and pronouns and follow your lead on what feels right.
And if what you want is a big deal made of it, rainbow branding and a themed package, I am probably not your person. Here it is simply the work.

A few things people ask
Do you photograph same-sex and queer couples?
Yes. All couples, all configurations, no exceptions and no qualifications. I photograph same-sex weddings, queer engagement sessions, trans and non-binary individuals, and chosen families.
Are you affirming of trans and non-binary clients?
Yes. I will use the name and pronouns you use. If there is anything specific I should know before we meet, tell me in your enquiry and I will follow your lead.
What if we want an elopement rather than a wedding?
Elopements and micro-ceremonies work well. They are often quieter, and quiet is where the photographs get good. Write to me and we will figure out what makes sense.
